WEDDING
BOYS—PRICE. Knox Church, Masterion. was- the scene of a pretty wedding on Saturday morning, when Patty, daughter of Mr and Mrs C. F. Price, West Bush Road, Masterton, was married to Edward, third son of Mrs Boys, of Taihape. and the late James Boys, of Lansdowne. The Rev D. McNeur was the officiating minister. The bride, who was escorted by her twin brother. Mr Ken Price, was attended by 7 her sister, Miss Monica Price, as bridesmaid. Both bride and bridesmaid carried bouquets of autumn tints to tone with their frocks. The bridegroom was attended by Mr C. Smith, Martinborough, as best man. As she was leaving the Church the bride was handed a lucky horseshoe by little Allan Graham. Later a reception was held at “La-Signy,” the residence of the bride’s parents, where the guests were entertained, and the usual toasts were honoured.
Mr and Mrs Boys later left for the north where their honeymoon will be spent.
