Ottawa. —Hydrographic surveys conducted by the Fisheries Research Board of Canada in charting changes in the ocean floor and alterations of ocean currents in their investigation of' the habits and movements of fish, may prove of considerable importance to Canada at war. It has been suggested that such information might be of value in the laying of defensive minefields if found necessary.
