DONATIONS TO PATRIOTIC FUNDS. FORTNIGHTLY DEDUCTIONS FROM SALARIES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. The Postmaster-General stated today that he took particular pride in announcing that the officers of the P. and T. Department, in large numbers throughout the Dominion, had volunteered to contribute to the Patriotic Funds on a regular fortnightly basis. The donations are to be deducted from salaries and the money will be handed over to the National and Provincial Patriotic funds, the allocation to be decided by the Director-General of the Department, Mr Young, in collaboration with the P. and T. Officers’ Guild and the P. and T. Employees’ Association,
