SIGNOR MUSSOLINI AND HERR HITLER
No Information in Official Communiques SOME PUZZLEMENT IN ITALY AND ELSEWHERE ANOTHER ITALIAN SHIP SUNK BY NAZIS Signor Mussolini and Herr Hitler are now on Iheil’ wat home after their 21 hours meeting. The Italian and German Foreign .Ministers (Count Ciano and Herr von Ribbentrop; were present al the meeting. Official communiques issued in Rome and Berlin describe the talk as cordial, but give no other information. Official circles in Rome are described as puzzled at the meeting. An Italian official said that a German report that Italy may enter the war on the side of Germany is probably a trial balloon. Another Italian ship has fallen a victim of Nazi sea warfare. A collier of nearly 5000 tons was blown up off the southeast coast of England and broke in two. One seaman was drowned and seven were injured. The Hungarian Premier will shortly visit Rome for talks with Signor Mussolini and Count Ciano.
