OTHER PEOPLE’S IDEAS
GRATITUDE OF PIONEERS
(To the Editor.) Sir. —As an old settler, I feel that I would like to express through the columns of your paper, my appreciation and thanks to the committee and to all concerned for the wonderful way in which we were treated last Thursday. I feel that I cannot adequately express my thanks to one and all, whose so generously given help and service provided us with such a happy and never-to-be-forgotten day. To those who so generously provided the various meats and dainties for the luncheon, to those who so attentively waited on us, to those who provided and presented us with the buttonholes and posies, and to those who in their cars so kindly conveyed us to the Showgrounds and safely brought us home again, I wish to express my sincere thanks. Also, the menu card for each of us to keep as a memento, was another thoughtful action, added to our happy day.—l am. etc.. G.F.G. Masterton, March 18.
