GENERAL WAVELL FLYING TO CAPE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 10.45 a.m.) CAPETOWN. March 14. General Wavell. British Commander in Egypt and Palestine, is flying to the Cape to confer with General Smuts on South African defence questions. General Wavell has already had a similar conference in Rhodesia and in Kenya.
