By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright ISTANBUL, March 14. The Government, is reported to be considering an Italian proposal for direct, collaboration with Turkey in the event, of a. ILissian attack in the Balkans.

A message received yesterday stated: The Turkish Supreme War Council has concluded a meeting and has announced that the situation is entirely satisfactory. The Ankara correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain says authorised persons declare that Turkey is ready to pit her utmost military strength against Russia if the Soviet, after its Finnish triumph, attempted to gain concessions affecting the Dardanelles. Report from the Caucasus state that the Russians are evacuating all women and children from Batum, which is within range of Turkish artillery.
