FREIGHTER SALVAGED

After one of the most remarkable salvaging feats ever performed in Australia, the Union Company’s freighter was freed from the wreckage and berthed safely. Two divers at a depth of sixteen feet cut through the thick steel plates for twenty feet with a special under-water oxy-acetylene plspt.
