DEPARTMENTAL OFFICERS WITHDRAWN.

Because of its objection to the Commonwealth Government's pooling plant for marketing apples and pears, the Now South Wales Government has withdrawn all officers of the Department of Agriculture, who were assisting to carry out the plant. The Minister of Agriculture, Mr Reid, stated. that a strong protest was made by the State Government to the Federal Government. The present action was taken because the State could not get satisfaction from the Federal authorities.
