STUD SHEEP SALES
That the Romney Marsh breed of sheep, so popular in the North Island of New Zealand, is extending its popularity throughout the Dominion is very evident. Recently, Pelorous Sounds have been making extensive purchases of rams of this breed. Messrs. Dalgety & Co., Ltd., have already this season shipped no fewer than 178 Romney Marsh rams to eleven different breeders in the Sounds. Furthermore, the same company made an important shipment of Romney Marsh rams tp Nelson this month from the flocks of Messrs. G. E. Allen and W. H. Henson. Messrs. Dalgety & Co., Ltd., have just shipped two outstanding stud Lincoln rams to Messrs. Dollar & Sons, Seddon, Marlborough, from the renowned flock of Mr. L. R. Wilton, Masterton, and also two top stud rams from the same breeder for Messrs. Inkson Bros, and McEvcdy Bros., of Canterbury.
