RECRUITING MEETING
OPERA HOUSE FRIDAY NIGHT.
There will be a parade through the town by members of the local Territorial units and the National Military Reserve on Friday night, followed by a recruiting meeting in the Opera House at 8 o’clock. The speaker will be the Leader of the Opposition. Mr Adam Hamilton, with whom will be associated other speakers. Territorials will parade at the Musterton Drill Hal] at 7.15 o'clock shrap. Latest Enlistments. The slow rate of military enlistments manifest during the past weeks is still being maintained, only six men having enrolled over the past few days. The latest list of recruits is as follows. all of whom are from outside centres, as in the last list: Messis James Tauru (Pirinoa, Maori Battalion); J. F. Brunton. K. R. Townsend (Carterton); H. G. Bain. J. A. Reid (Featherston), and L. W. B. Waterrcus (Eketahuna).
