COSY THEATRE
“THREE SMART GIRLS GROW UP.” The family season at the Cosy Theatre is an outstanding one in every respect. Heading the programme is ' the delightful “Three Smart Girls Grow Up,” featuring Deanna Durbin, the gloriously radiant and refreshing star of stars. Now grown to young womanhood, Deanna was never so charming while her voice has grown fuller and richer with the passing years. Perfect support come from that inimitable artist, Charles Winninger, besides Nan Grey, Helen Parrish and others. Sparkling with hilarious scenes of comedy set against the spooky back- 1 ground of a mysterious ghost house, and featuring Paul Kelly, William Lundigan, Constance Moore, Edward Stanley, Selmer Jackson, Patrick J. Kelly, Harlan Briggs and other well known players, Universal's latest proauction, “The Missing Guest,” is the associate feature. The plot deals with the efforts of a fresh and reckless young reporter to solve the mystery of the notorious Blue Room. As a result, ghosts and giggles, thrills, chills and surprises vie for supremacy during the production.
