MODERATE ENOUGH
HITLER’S OFFER OF HIS LIFE. CRISP AMERICAN COMMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. NEW YORK. March 11. The “New York Times,” commenting on Herr Hitler’s speech, says it throws no new light on the situation. Herr Hitler’s offer to give his life, if necessary, for a German victory, seemed to be a moderate enough offer when one considered that thousands of other German lives had been sacrificed to that end. The paper added that Herr Hitler was talking humbug when he described the Allied aim as Germany’s destruction.
