MORE THAN 1,500 IN BRITAIN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, March I'2. More than 1500 German prisoners of war are in internment camps in England. Of this total, combatants number 257, in addition to which there are 1271 merchant seamen. In announcing these figures, the War Office slated that the German prisoners now have the opportunity of listening to the 8.8. C. programmes in German. The names of eight more U-boat prisoners, whose ages range from 20 to 27, have, been broadcast by Britain to Germany. ■
