OBITUARY
MR. FRANK SIEMONEK. The death occurred at Masterton yesterday of Mr Frank Siemonek. a well-known resident of Masterton. The deceased, who was born in Poland 73 years ago, arrived in New Zealand at the age of six years. Practically the whole of his life was spent in the Wairarapa. He was a noted bushman and had been in the employ of various sawmilling firms in the early days. For a period he was farming on the Upper Plain and was also employed for many years at the Waingawa freezing works. He is survived by a widow, daughter, three sisters and one brother, who will have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends in their sad bereavement. The funeral will leave St. Patrick's Church. Master ton, tomorrow (Thursday) after Requiem Mass, which will be held at 9 a.m.. for the Masterton Cemetery.
