WOMEN’S DIVISION
ARRANGEMENTS FOR ANNUAL MEETING. ("Times-Age” Special.) At a meeting of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union held on Friday it was decided to hold the annual meeting in the second week in April. The meeting adjourned to allow members to attend the shop day in aid of patriotic funds. Personal. Mr and Mrs Chas. Rea left on Saturday on a motor tour to Tauranga. ■Mrs S. S. Sharp (president) and Mrs J. E. Willett (secretary) of the Featherston sub-branch of the Rod Cross Society, have left for Wellington to attend the Red Cross conference being held there. Mr and Mrs W. O. Benton, Te Kawa, Waikato, are visiting their daughter, Mrs Chas. Buck, Underhill Road. Mr W. H. Sadler, Tauherenikau, is visiting Mr Holdcroft. Ashhurst, for a few' days.
Acting on medical advice Mr A. McGuiness has found it necessary to enter the Wellington Hospital for treatment.
