A strike of 2000 Dublin municipal workers developed seriously when a mass meeting rejected the ultimatum requiring key men to resume tomorrow. A general strike is looming.

Mr Sean McEntee, Minister of Industry, warned the Dublin Trades Council that a sympathetic strike would cause comprehensive Government action to protect publie interests.
