The club has been very fortunate in the past in having such generous patrons and well-wishers as the late Mr. Peacock and Messrs. H. E. Pither, J. J. Barnes, E. W. Hollings and F. Yule, who have given trophies for club competitions. The cups are at present on view in the window of Mr. Pither's shop where they make an impressive display. Swimmers are reminded of the forthcoming Eketahuna Swimming Club carnival and entries should be handed in to the hon. secretary immediately. The club will provide transport if sufficient members and friends signify their intention of visiting Eketahuna.
