BUSINESS AT ANNUAL MEETING. PIPE BAND CONGRATULATED. The 64th annual general meeting of the Wairarapa Caledonian Society was held on Thursday evening, Mr R. McKenzie presiding. McKenzie, L. Pither, A. A. McPherson. J. McKenzie. I. D. Cameron, A. McCowan, J. W. Colquhoun. A. A. Burling. R. Burling. J. J. Hunter. R. Coutts, W. R. Burling; auditor. Mr F. M. Cunningham; hon pipers. Messrs R. W. Burling. L. Pither. C. W. Burling, R. Burns, J. McKenzie, M. McKenzie. A. McCowan, L. Forsberg. It was decided that a letter be sent to the College Pipe Band congratulating it on its recent success at the Dominion Centennial Highland contes 1 . in annexing championship honours and its subsequent promotion to A grade pipers. The president, in thanking all officers for their support and interest during the past season, particularly referred to the sterling assistance and co-operation given by the ladies’ committee.
