EKETAHUNA SALE

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report as follows on their Eketahuna sale held yesterday:—A full yarding of all classes of sheep came forward and were offered to a large and representative attendance of buyers from the Wairarapa, Bush and Manawatu. The sale throughout was good, and prices realised were quite on a par with sales held in this district during the last week or so. A total clearance was effected, and the following list of principal sales will indicate values: —A/c Mr F. W. Parry, Mt. Bruce, 5-yr. ewes. 19s; others, 17s. 17s 6d to 18s; medium 2-th. ewes, 225; medium 4-th. ewes, 21s Id to 22s Id: 6-th. ewes, 21s 4d; carryover 2-th. ewes, 16s 9d io 17s; b.f. rape lambs, 16s to 17s; medium w.f. shorn wether lambs, 11s; small do., 8s to 9s; woolly wether lambs,. 15s.
