DOLLAR EXCHANGE
ECONOMIES IN PROSPECT IN AUSTRALIA. By' Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. MELBOURNE, March 5. Australia's exchange position, particularly dollar exchange, will be reviewed in Canberra next week. The Government is expected to embark on a long-range plan involving about twice the exchange economies instituted by the import restriction system last year and covering items such as petrol, cars, films, raw tobacco, timber, radio valves and machinery.
