SAPPING NAZIS' STRENGTH
WAR STRATEGY OF THE ALLIES. The main idea of the Allies’ war strategy was simple, said . the Lord Privy Seal. Si)' Samuel Hoare, in a recent speech. They maintained defensive positions on land. They were ready to deal with attack in the air. AC sea the Navy defended British commerce against the enemy. The Navy was also the instrument of the offensive against the enemy’s economic life.
