FIVE YEARS OLD
DUNEDIN’S QUADRUPLETS <By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, March 5. Dunedin’s famous Johnson quadruplets, Kathleen, Mary, Vera and Bruce, will celebrate their fifth birthday tomorrow with a party, complete with the traditional cake. The "quads” have been a constant source of interest to a surprising number of people, and on occasions such as this they can always expect a number of congratulatory telegrams. One of the first to arrive was from the Prime Minister, Mr Savage. "On the occasion of the fifth birthday anniversary of the quadruplets,” it reads, "I send my heartiest congratulations and my sincere wishes for their future welfare and happiness." The children will reciprocate the Prime Minister’s greeting with little delay, as his birthday will be. celebrated on Thursday. The four children have been in bed recently with mild attacks of influenza. but rhey are now up and about again and excited at, the prospect of tomorrow's party.
