GUNS FOR BRAZIL
PURCHASE FROM UNITED STATES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 9.2.5 a.m.) WASHINGTON, March 5. The Secretary for War, Mr Harry Woodring, announced that Brazil, in order to bolster up her defences, has purchased 90 six inch guns from the Army’s surplus. The guns are part of those that Britain sold to the United States -at the end of the Great War.
