(Received This Day, 12.10 p.m.) PARIS. March 4. French military despatches report the arrival of fresh German divisions on the West Front, coinciding with a decided renewal of activity. A Gorman raiding party took several prisoners on lhe edge of lhe Vosges and the French retaliated with the ambush of a German unit at the Wissemborg Gap. Both the Allies and the Germans emphasise the expansion of aerial activities, which included extensive reconnaissance flights, besides sharp encounters over front line positions.
