RENEWAL OF ACTIVITY
PATROL & AIR FIGHTING. FRENCH OFFICIAL REPORT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 9 a.m.) PARIS, March 4. The day communique states: “There has been a decided renewal of activity of contact units also of patrols and reconnaissances along Ute entire front between Iho R hine and the Moselle during (he past few days. Two of our outposts east of the Moselle last night repelled a local attack. “Numerous aerial fights occurred yesterday, in which two enemy lighters were probably brought down. Our crews returned safely. The R.A.F. brought down a German scouting plane over our outpost line.”
