MUNICIPAL CONFERENCE

OPENING IN WELLINGTON TONIGHT. The centennial (thirty-fifth) conference of the Municipal Association oft New Zealand will be opened at the concert chamber of the Wellington Town Hall at fl o'clock' tonight. The president is Mr T. Jordan, Mayor of Masterton. who will deliver his report, this evening. It is a lengthy review covering a great many subjects of interest to municipalities throughout: the country. Mr A. Eaton Hurley is the secretary and treasurer. There are 28 remits on the order paper.
