Visitors to Masterton for the Gillions —Ralph wedding on Saturday who were the guests of Mr and Mrs A. J. Daysh, Worksop Road, during the 'weekend included Mrs H. C. Grace. Dunedin; Mrs A. C. Berry and Basil Berry, Dannevirke; and Mrs Wilson, Hcretaunga. Sister C. Healey, of Burnham Military Camp, Christchurch, who is to proceed overseas for service with the nursing detachment attached to the Second Echelon. was a visitor to Masterton for the Gillions — Ralph wedding on Saturday, and was the guest of Mr and Mrs W. R. Nicol, Chapel Street. The resignation of Miss E. L. Armstrong, in view of her approaching marriage, after-a period of service extending over the past eight years, was accepted at the monthly meeting of the Masterton County Council 'today. Opportunity was taken to make Miss Armstrong a presentation from the council and to wish her many happy years of married life. At a gathering of the office staff yesterday afternoon, a presentation was made by the County Clerk, Mr J. C. D. Mackley.
