Mrs O’Hallorian, of Gisborne, is a visitor to Carterton and is staying with Miss L. Braithwaite, Clefton Avenue. Miss E. Edwards (Palmerston North) was at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Masterton, during the weekend. Mrs Emmerson and Miss May Bardsley. both of Dunedin, who have been staying at ‘-Kent House,” Colombo Road, have returned to Wellington for a few days prior to their departure south. Detective-Sergeant W. R. Murray (of Wellington) accompanied by his wife and family, is spending his annual leave in Masterton as the guest of Mr and Mrs C. H. Reardon, Macaw Street.
