AUTUMN FLOWER SHOW
OPENING BY MRS J. ROBERTSON. Mrs J. Robertson, wife of the member for Masterton. has kindly consented to open the Horticultural Society’s Autumn Show next Wednesday. The official opening will take place at 3 p.m., but doors will be open to visitors from 2 p.m. onwards as well as in the evening. The secretary reports that entries are coming in freely and that otherwise arrangements for the show have been completed, there being every prospect that it will be an outstanding one in keeping with the Centennial year. Exhibitors are given a further reminder that entries will close at noon on Tuesday. Schedules or information, may be obtained by telephoning 1077, the office of the secretary.
