NATIONAL SAVINGS
WELL-SUPPORTED CAMPAIGN IN BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY. February 26. A total of £5.346.780 was raised last week by the sale of Saving Certificates and Defence Bonds and during the same period 1847 new savings groups, enrolling 159,032 names, wore formed. The campaign, which is now 13 weeks old. aims at establishing 360 to 400 new groups each day, and already nearlv £92.000.000 has been saved.
