MASTERTON EWE FAIR

LATE RATES MAINTAINED. The Associated Auctioneers’ third Ewe Fair, held in conjunction with the Masterton stock sale this morning attracted a large bench of buyers. There was a large yarding of good quality sheep. , At the time of going to press, a start had been made with theselling of two-tooth ewes, the prices realised being up to late rates. Quotations are: Sheep: Two-tooth ewes, 23s 6d, 25s 9d to 26s Id. Pigs: ss, 6s, better sorts, Ils to 12s.
