CONCESSION TO COMPLEMENT OF ACHILLES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Further expression of the Dominion’s appreciation of the services of those who took part in the River Plate action is indicated in an arrangement which has been made between the cable authorities and the New Zealand Government by which each member of the complement of H.M.S. Achilles will be able to send a free telegram to his relatives abroad. The Postmaster-General, Mr Jones, said yesterday that this privilege was similar to that accorded by the authorities in December last, when, shortly after the action. New Zealand officers and ratings on the Achilles and their I relatives in the Dominion had the privilege of exchanging free personal messages. ■
