We understand that since a report appeared in the press that a rabbit had been killed by a bomb in the Shetland Islands, many English golf clubs are seriously thinking of erecting a balloon barrage around the course to protect their new members. Health stamps, which have been on issue since October 16 last, will remain on sale until February 29. Pub-lic-spirited members of the community will have the opportunity, up to the end of February, of purchasing Health stamps and in this way of assisting very directly in the great work of restoring many physically-weak children to good health. Health stamps are in two denominations —l|d and 3d, the postage value of the lid stamp being Id, the remaining Id going to the children’s fund. From a modest beginning, the children’s Health Camp movement has grown to such an extent that the maintenance of the camps involves considerable expenditure each year. While the present unsettled conditions have affected Health Camp revenue, the number of children who require Health Camp treatment is the same as formerly. 'Health camp committee, whose work, by the way, is entirety voluntary. are redoubling their efforts to obtain the finance necessary to carry on their work among the children. The principal source of revenue for maintaining children’s Health Camps is the sale of Health stamps. The purchase of even of few stamps will assist some child in regaining its rightful heritage of good health.
