GORGE SLIP

RAILWAY LINE STILL BLOCKED. Hawke's Bay trains continue to use hie Wairarapa line on account of a slip blocking a tunnel entrance in the Manawatu Gorge. An opening was pierced through yesterday in the slip, enabling work to be undertaken at both side.s of the slip. There is no prospect of the line being cleared today and it is doubtful if it will be open tomorrow.
