EARLY SETTLERS
APPLICATIONS FOR CENTENNIAL RIBBONS MUST BE IN HAND BY END OF WEEK. FURTHER LIST OF NAMES. Early settlers eligible for centennial ribbons, denoting a residence in New Zealand of 75 years or longer, are urged to send lheir names to the Town Clerk, Air G. T. O’Hara Smith, not later than the end of this week, so that the names may be included in the list to go forward to the Government in making application for the ribbons. This request was emphasised at yesterday’s meeting of the Masterton Centennial Committee. Additional names received by the Town Clerk are:— Mrs Maria Reynolds, Renall Street. Mr Charles Weston, Mt. Bruce Road. Mr Henry Roff, 95 Kuripuni Street. Mrs Mary Ann Carpenter, 116 Dixon Street. Mr James Boyd McKenzie, 95 Chapel Street. Miss Christina McKenzie, 44 Perry Street. Mr Edwin. Masters Bannister, 185 Dixon Street.
Mr R. L. Renall, Worksop Road.
