AUSTRALIAN COAL MINING UNIONS. ULTIMATUM RECEIVED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 11.45 a.m.) SYDNEY. This Day. The delegates of the combined mining unions decided that unless a conference with the coal owners to discuss miners’ claims is arranged before the expiration on February 29 on the general strike ultimatum, aggregate stopwork meetings will be called to give effect to the ultimatum.
