SUCCESSFUL SHOW ; I HELD BY WOMEN'S DIVISION ' AT CARTERTON. LIST OF PRIZE WINNERS. j (“Times-Age” Special.) The Carterton Branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union held a very successful Horticultural Show in the Band Room, Holloway Street. Carterton, yesterday. The display was a great credit to the exhibitors, and showed that considerable care and attention had been spent in growing the blooms. The judge (Mr E. H. Hawker) of the vegetables and cut flowers stated that the exhibits in these two sections were distinctly outstanding. Mrs E, H. Hawker judged the home produce and Mrs F. Wallis, of Masterton, the decorative classes. - ' Mrs Cooper (secretary) and the president (Mrs P. Hodder) and their assistants worked splendidly to make the exhibition the success it was. Morning and afternoon tea was dispensed by a strong ladies’ committee, and they report excellent business throughout the day. The following are the prize winners: — Champion and Points Prizes.
