OBITUARY

MRS E. A. E. ROSS. The death occurred today at tlie Masterton Hospital of Mrs Emily Annie Edith Ross, widow of the late Mr Donald Ross. The late Mrs Ross, who was 64 years of age, had been in hospital for the past few weeks. She was a daughter of the late William and Fanny Speedy, of "Pipi Bank.” Herbertville, and was well-known throughout the Wairarapa district. For the past three or four years she had resided in Masterton. Mrs Ross is survived by one daughter, Mrs D. Brunton of Dryer’s Rock, Mauriceville. Her husband predeceased her many years ago.

The funeral will take place on Monday, leaving the residence, 12 Rimu Street, Lansdowne, after a service commencing at 2.30 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
