MODEL PLANES

FLYING AT HOOD AERODROME. There is great activity and much rejoicing among members of the Masterton -Model Aeroplane Club following on receipt of advice from the Wairarapa and Ruahine Aero Club that it is willing, during the period in which, under war conditions, the Hood Aerodrome is not in use. that the aerodrome may be used for model plane flying. Several of the Aero Club's members are taking a keen interest in the model club's activities.

It is stated that the facilities at the Mood Aerodrome will be of great assistance to the club, which will commence flying there tomorrow, weather permitting. By using the hangar in wet weather, it will be possible to fly models every weekend. It is anticipated that the facilities now placed at the club's disposal will be of considerable assistance in the conduct of its Easter meeting.
