SALVATION ARMY—Y.M.C.A. APPEAL. MEETING BEING HELD TONIGHT. A final reminder is given of the meeting to be held in the Municipal Social Hall tonight for the purpose of setting up a citizen’s committee to launch the appeal on behalf of the National Patriotic Fund being made by the Salvation Army and Y.M.C.A. The meeting, which will commence at 8 o’clock, has been convened by the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan and the chairman of the Masterton County Council, Mr R. E. Gordon Lee. A large and representative attendance of citizens is desired. MAYOR’S LIST. FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGMENTS. Additional donations to the Patriotic Fund are acknowledged by the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, as follow: —
