Mr and Mrs Colin McKay and family have returned from a trip to Paihia, Bay of Islands, where they were the guests of Mr and Mrs R. A. Renal], formerly of the Wairarapa.

Mr and Mrs J. D. Sievwright, “Vailima,” The Terrace. Wellington, celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their wedding yesterday with a 5 to 7 party, which was attended by more than 100 friends. Mr and Mrs Sievwright were married in Invercargill by the Rev John Ferguson, of St Paul’s, assisted by the Rev George Lindsay, of First Church. Mrs Sievwright was Miss Jessie McCallum, second daughter of Mr and Mrs M. McCallum, Southland. There are two sons. Mr A. B. and Mr Gorden Sievwright, two daughters, Mrs A. H. Tocker, Christchurch, and Mrs A. F. Meldrum, Hamilton, and 14 grand-children.
