PARK CLUB. i CHAMPIONSHIP COMPETITIONS. [ The following are the results of games played at the Park during the week: —■ Champion fours: Roff. Braggins. Duckworth. Bell (s) 24 defeated Smith. Burke, Brown. Simpson (s) 15. Champion singles: Thompson 24. defeated Shearer 18; Simpson 16. defeated Shearer 15; Wallace 23. defeated Jones 22: Thompson 19. defeated Simpson 17. Handicap singles: Kilgour 22. defeated Osborne 20. Booth Cup—Park v Martinborough: At the Park the matches resulted in a win each for Martinborough and Park but at Martinborough the home team secured two wins. Shield: Whale, Andrews. Wall Gibson (Park) 28. defeated Smith. George. Feist, Casely (Martinborough) 12. During an intermission in the games on Saturday Mr E. Bell, a foundation member of the Park Club, referred to the splendid service rendered to the club by the late Mr C. F. Wilton, who was the club's only life member. The flags were lowered and members observed a minute’s' silence out of respect to the memory of their late fellow bowler. WAIRARAPA CENTRE. CHAMPION OF CHAMPION SINGLES. The Champion of Champion Singles of the Wairarapa Bowling Centre will be played on the Masterton Park green on Saturday. On the Masterton Club’s green last evening Hayne defeated Morton in the champion singles, which leaves three •—Hayne. E. Reid and Christian —to play to see who will represent the club in the Champion of Champion Singles.
