ORDER OF DRUIDS
STONEHENGE LODGE. QUARTERLY MEETING OF MEMBERS. The quarterly meeting of the Stonehenge Lodge of Druids was held las' night, A.D. Bro. A. G. Swinn presiding over a good attendance of members. Reports were received regarding the progress of 12 members on the sick ’ list. Accounts amounting to £37 13s 3c were passed, for payment. A benevolent grant was made to one member who has been incapacitated by illness for some considerable time. A strong committee, consisting of eight members, was set up to control the arrangements for the Diamond Jubilee of the Lodge, which will be celebrated this year. It was unanimously resolved that the social fund levy' be increased by threepence per member per quarter, the increase to date as from May, 1940. One new member was accepted on transfer from Levin. Reports were presented by delegates from the Hospital Association, and the Friendly Societies' Dispensary.
