A communique states that U-boats in various ocean areas successfully attacked enemy convoys and sank steamers and oil-tankers in thiee convoys. A destroyer belonging to the protective force was sunk in a font th convoy. ADMIRALTY COMMENT ENEMY CLAIMS FANTASTIC AS USUAL. (Received This Day. 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, February 19. British naval circles discredit the German claim that tour convoys were successfully attacked. The Admiralty's comments were: "The claim is as fantastic as German claims usually are.'
