Liverton, Rewanui, Maserton, was dressed in a wedgwood 'due heavy sheer frock and wore a . -IqVer foque with shoes and gloves to tone. She carried a clover and blue ou.quet.. .. The bride Was attended by her cousin, Miss Neroli Cuftis, of Tiraumea, and Mis'S Mafjorie Va'nse of Wellington, as bridesmaids, They were attired in ilpyer dresses ..and wore turb’A'ns. and..shoes and gloves to tone. Of Wqihoki Valley, groomsman. ...At tbe reception the bride’s mother Was dressed in cyclamen lace and the bridegroom’s mother, in a blue and White ensemble, received the guests Who came from Auckland. Wellington, Matamata, Tiraumea, Waihoki Valley, Hutt and Petone. The bridegroom’s presents to the bridesmaids were compacts and to the bride a string of pearls. The bride ■ presented the bridegroom with a sil- 1 ver stud box. At the wedding reception which took .place in the Savage Club rooms, the Rev J. Davie proposed the toast of the health of the bride and bridegroom and in an appropriate speech congratulations and best wishes were extended to Mr and Mrs Burns. A dance held subsequently was greatly enjoyed by the many guests present. Mr and Mrs Burns left on a honeymoon tour of the North Island which will embrace Rotorua and Lake Taupo. Their future home will be at “Tinakori,” Blairlogie.
