EXHIBITION MATCHES. (Bj- Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. February 14. The visiting Australian tennis players attracted a record crowd of 2200 to Wilding Park today when they played exhibition matches with leading South Island players. Bromwich was in even better form than in the New Zealand championships and beat Crawford in a brilliant match. Results: — Bromwich beat Crawford, G/l, 6'4; Brown (Canterbury) beat Barnes. 6, 1. 6/5. Miss Hardcastle beat Miss Miller (North Otago), G/l, 6/4. Brown (Canterbury) and Bromwich beat Angas (Canterbury) and Crawford. 6/1, 6/2. Misses Wynne and Coyne boat Mrs Hatherly and Miss Poole (Canterbury), 6/1. 6/3.
