HELPING WORKERS
IN DIFFICULTIES ARISING OUT OF WAR. FORMATION OF COMMITTEES IN BRITAIN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON. February 14. The Labour movement for the establishment of a "War Vigilance Committee" to assist workers in their difficulties arising out of the war is generally regarded as an idea which should be instituted throughout the country. Inevitably war brings a mass of regulations and restrictions, to say nothing of such problems as rationing and evacuation. In addition, it is hoped the committee will provide machinery whereby workers' opinions and grievances can speedily be ventilated.
