LORD TWEEDSMUIR
CONDITION STILL GRAVE. SECOND OPERATION PERFORMED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. MONTREAL. February 10. It is officially stated that the Gover-nor-General. Lord Tweedsmuir, is slightly improved but his condition, is stilt critical, after a second operation. Lord Tweedsmuir was taken to Montreal by .special train accompanied by his wife and son and five doctors, and was admitted to the Royal Victoria Hospital, where a second emergency operation was performed. RELAPSE REPORTED. ANXIETY THROUGHOUT CANADA. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Dav. 10 a.m.) RUGBY. February 11. According to an Ottawa message this morning's bulletin from the Montreal Neurologican Institute states that Lord Tweedsmuir has suffered a relapse. This statement has caused grave anxiety throughout Canada and prayers for his Excellency's recovery are being said in the churches of all denominations throughout the Dominion. THIRD OPERATION. Tn relation to Lord Tweedsmuir. a conference of five specialists decided upon an immediate blood transfusion and ti third operation. The donor of the blood is believed Io be the patient's son.
