BEEF SCHEDULES
— * NEW RATES IN HAWKE'S BAY. (By Telegraph—Press Asociation.) HASTINGS, February 101 Beef schedules have been advanced in Hawke’s Bay consequent on the 25 per cent increase in the price of hides. The increase provides for another Is 6d for ox beef weights from 5801 b. to 840 lb.,- and removes an anomaly which existed in the original schedule. Tne new rates, which arc now operative in Hawke’s Bay, are:— / Ox beef—5801b. to 8401 b- 34/Under 5801 b. and over 8401 b. 30/Scconds 29/Heifers — 5801 b. and over 33/Under 5801 b 31/Seconds 28/Cows — Prime 26/6 Boners — Ox 25/6 Bull 24/Cow 21/6 Veal (a lb.) 2g
